Balboa Park

Located near downtown San Diego, Balboa Park is a beautiful collection of museums, gardens, landmarks, theaters, shops and restaurants. Admission is free to the grounds and a variety of activities including a trolly ride to get around the Park. Prices vary for museums and attractions.

Mission Bay

Sandcastles

Nothing beats a day at the beach building sandcastles. It's the perfect way to build lasting memories with your kids, just the way you did when you were young. Belmont Park

Ginat Dipper

Visit this beachfront amusement park with your family and relive the thrills and fun of childhood. Located in Mission Beach, Belmont Park features the Giant Dipper roller coaster which was originally built in 1925. Free parking gets you instant access to mini golf, arcade games, amusement park rides, and a wide variety of restaurants. It's a carnival all year long!

Old Town

Take a walking tour back in time to the birthplace of California. You can find a mix of shops, museums, restaurants, galleries, entertainment and even haunted houses. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food or a tasty margarita, then this is the place. Visit nearby Presidio Park, were the first of 21 Californian missions overlooks Old Town, and is surrounded by large open parks for picnics and a nap in the shade.

Knott's Soak City

Soak City

The beach isn't the only place to cool off in San Diego, check out Knott's Soak City water park. Slip and slide down tube slides, ride out the current in the wave pool, or relax in the lazy river. Padres Game

The Padres have been bringing an American classic to San Diego since 1968. And if it's February through October, it's time to catch some Padres baseball at Petco Park.
